First Impressions & The Excitement Ehd-e-Wafa [Pakistani Drama]

My Initial Reactions - Is It Special September 6th? Is it a TV movie or is it a movie ?! Oh, wow! It's a series !! Yeah! Since this time HUM did not promote a drama with star acting in the usual way, the reason is that Ehd-e-Wafa is not just an MD production project but after a long time ISPR co-produced a TV play.

After seeing refreshing promotions for Ehd-e-Wafa, all viewers who watched Sunehery Din and Alpha Bravo Charlie should be reminded of a time when the drama focused on more than marital abuse, jealousy, and marital affairs.

Beautiful surprise

Usually when a drama like Ehd-e-Wafa is in the making, production roles and cast members start promoting the drama sometimes years before it is shown on air - Alif and Aangan are two recent examples of such dazzling promotions.

This time, viewers were introduced to Ehd-e-Wafa for the first time through boredom and this is definitely the reason why first impressions and public excitement are so much more than the drama you see so often on social media media even before it airs on the air.

It also explains that the drama makers are absolutely certain that their final product is enough to grab viewers' attention. There was news that a drama like Alpha Bravo Charlie was in the pipeline but so far we haven't seen the drama team try their best to promote it,

I hope it stays that way so we can all watch the drama, make our own interpretations and enjoy the ride.

Visually and refreshing promotions

I have to admit that after Aangan, I find it hard to get too excited about any drama at all, but Ehd-e-Wafa is definitely an exception because his main attraction is not the star but the theme of the play and its story.

It has been proven in the recent past that even a good writer like Mustafa Afridi can spoil it, and the star cast certainly cannot guarantee the drama that will be enjoyed and tempted. Saif Hassan is a creative manager who knows his profession very well, so I am happy, he is the captain of this ship.

A new pairing is always welcomed too, Sajal and Ahad are the hottest couple on screen but it's nice to see that the makers of this drama want people to enjoy the bond of friendship and the journey of these friends rather than focus entirely on a love story.

Viewers can actually talk about the weirdness of the four gang members played by one of Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj Ali and Othman Khaled Pat.

The posters also ensure that Ehd-e-Wafa will be beautifully shot, from the locations to the general setting of each scene, everything looks perfect so far.

The humor

The jokes in promos are pure and relevant - "How is the tea, my master is wonderful." - To be my favorite out of boredom. "kuttay bano insan na bano." It is another very entertaining joke.

The comic component of an otherwise emotional series is the main attraction of all ISPR products that prevent this drama from getting too serious and make the characters and their journeys more connected.

Liners containing posters such as “Join the arduous journey of the soldiers defeating their enemies and indulging themselves in their“ A Wonderful Cup of Tea ”ISPR wrote everywhere.

These gorgeous lines and scenes covering a personal journey Sun in particular show that Ehd-e-Wafa is going to be a journey Entertaining.

Concluding remarks

Until now, promotions have focused on "the gang", showing their journey from college to academy. The scenes and character of Ahad Mirza in the three released promotions were more prominent than the others.

His research on the academy and his love life are covered in these three shows. The premiere focused more on Osman Khaled Bat as the leader of the gang. Osman Khaled Bat asked the media to give equal credit to all of Ehd-e-Wafa's children, but the second and third shows are clearly focusing more on one Reza Mir who seems ideal for the role.

I'm sure all of the actors who play the main roles will do wonders but obviously we haven't seen enough of them all in the promotions yet.

The promotions also indicate that just like the other ISPR projects, some new faces from the Armed Forces will also appear in the drama.

The overall execution of the drama seems to be exceptional, and definitely something most of us have been waiting to see for a long time now.

Ahed Reza Mir, Ahmed Ali, Vaniza Ahmed, Othman Khaled Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Alizai Shah, Hajj Ali, Faraz Yahya, Enaam Siddiqui, Khalifa Sajiruddin, Syed Muhammad Ahmad, Mian Wesam Wahid, Ijaz Ahmad Niazi, Agha Muhammad Ali, Azim Sajjad, Adnan Samad Khan, Naima Naim Bit, Anjum Habibi and others will be seen starring and supporting characters in Ehd-e-Wafa.

A lot of times, drama promotions don't quite impress you. I must say I can't wait to hear Ehd-e-Wafa and hope the series itself is as impressive as the promotions.
